Garments are the finished products of these successive subject matters of textile. Textile industry are now emphasized over Garments sector very much. Quality garment products are their key success from the last successive years.

In Garments industry, the industrialists use most of the low to medium educated workers for their business. Workers at a low wages are available in Bangladesh. Bangladesh is an agricultural country where most of the people earn their livings from agriculture, but when industrialization was begun to expand the landless people has become interested to involve themselves into this sector. At present about 4.2 million people works in Garments factory, most of them are women. In the largest sector of Bangladesh women have come from rural areas to make themselves independent. Since they are also the contributor of the family financially, they are enabled to talk to any family decision. For this sector women have got an opportunity to work in better environment through living in urban areas.

But these women workers are falling under numerous problems to work in garments factories. In major cases women are neglected and given  low wages than men workers. The factory owners are claimed that they are low educated and low efficient in working as a result women labors make few wages through working during the same hours. Also women workers have fallen too many other invisible problems which are retained hide for number of years. They are emerged as tinny members and very rough behave also done with them in many cases. The garments workers also lead much miserable life that is not expected to a person.

Nevertheless, thousands of women worker are added daily into these factories to earn their livings. Now a days workers are combined together and make workers association. Under this association they struggled for increasing their wages and make a rule of minimum wage given. Bangladeshi Government has accepted their request and noticed the Garments Factories to give them a minimum wages of 4500 taka. Since, the factory owners are enabled to take any challenge into the world competitive market for this low level workers, they should be benefited workers by giving them right wages in right time. To minimize industrial dispute and clash the factory owners should sincere to give their wages, some extra facilities, welfare and job satisfaction through motivation.

History of RGM in Bangladesh
After country partition from India most of the Textile Industry was grown in west Pakistan (now pakistan) to develop the economy of the west Pakistan. In addition, garment producers can operate in smaller premises than those required by most of the processes in the textile industry. On top of this, Bangladesh has an abundant supply of cheap labor consisting mostly of women for whom this is one of the most suitable forms of employment. The rapid growth of this sector is primarily responsible for available labors of low wages. Now Bangladesh is the second Garments exporting country throughout the world. Silk Industry in Rajshahi division of Bangladesh

Silk
Silk is a very fine proteneous filament fiber. This soft fiber is made from silk warm which scientific name bombyx mori lives through eating mulberry leaves. These warm makes cocoons during their life which made with gummy substance sericin and it is a protein. Silk fiber was first found in China and afterwards it spreads worldwide, even in Bangladesh. Production process of silk fiber is known as sericulture and it is divided into two parts 'mulberry cultivation' and 'silkwarm'. In silk industry it is mentioned as two types of silk, one is mulberry type and another is non mulberry type. Non mulberry type silk is again divided into three sub categories. They are Tassar, Eri and Muga. In our country mulberry type silk is produced mostly. Silk is a protein fiber composed of fibroin, sericin, fats & waxes and mineral salts as a little part.

History of Silk in Bangladesh
There is no any clear cut information about growing of silk industry in our country but Silk has a long glorious history in Bangladesh. After partition in 1947, majority of these industry listed into India except only 10 percent left in Bangladesh. In this time only two sericulture nurseries were established in Rajashi zones with only 2000 manpower. In the view of expanding these industries and make cash Bangladesh Sericulture Board (BSB) was established in Feb, 1978 in the silk city Rajshahi. Also a silk research institute was also established in this city. Now Rajshahi is renowned for making cloths from silk (from raw silk, hard silk, spun silk) fiber which is much demand full across the whole country as well as abroad.

Mulberry Cultivation
Mulberry is a highly economic multipurpose usable plant. It is common name of the group heterozygous and growing species of genus morus of the family moracea. In Bangladesh mulberry plant cultivates particularly in Rajshahi division. Silkwarm is grown under a life cycle Moth-Egg-caterpillr-pupa . Caterpillr eats mulberry leaves and make cocoons rounded their body with a gummy protein sericin. After collecting cocoons it needs to boil and some other successive steps, as a result silk fiber is collected as thousand meter long and very soft.

Jute is a long, shiny, cellulosic vegetable fiber. It is a multi-celluler natural fiber, produce soft and coarse yarn. Jute plant is obtained from the genus Corchorus, classified in the order Tiliaceae. Generally two types of Jute plant grow commercially, they are C. capsularis and C. olitorius. It is second naturally growing cheap fiber which is used in successfully for producing a wide variety of products. Jute fiber composed of cellulose, hemi-cellulose and lignin, where lignin is respnsible for the hardness of this fiber in some extent. For this reason jute spun fall under some problem, it breaks up and make wastage. Therefore jute is kept for conditioning about two days with a mixture of jute batching oil. Jute technology is now a top subject to study to make quality and variety products from jute.

Jute Plant in Bangladesh

Bangladesh is an agricultural based country located in South Asia. Agriculture is the prime occupation of the major peoples in Bangladesh. In 1947-48 Bangladesh grown about 80% of total jute in the world which produced lot of foreign money that was majority of the total revenue of the country. For this reason jute is called as "Golden Fiber" of Bangladesh. Farmers of Bangladesh got a heavy source to earn money and lead their potential life with happiness. In this session Bangladesh made some jute industry across the country where jute technology was used to make different categories products. But in the year 1975-76 Bangladesh grown only 25% jute fiber across the world, because in this time already many other countries began to grow jute plant commercially and successfully by applying new technology. After some years farmers of Bangladesh uninspired to grow jute plant for reducing the demand of Bangladeshi jute and jute products in foreign market, also they suffered from the whole seller to get genuine price of jute. Therefore jute technology began to destroy in the past successive years. Also some political reasons are responsible for this worst situation of this technology in Bangladesh. The other countries grow Jute plant are India, Nepal, China, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand etc.

Jute Cultivation

Since Bangladesh dominates a huge percent of jute cultivation so we shared the cultivation according to this country. January-February month is the best time to plow jute plant. At the first rainy day of this month you have to grow jute seeds. Jute seeds are so small so it is required, land should well cultivate and soil should soft in nature. When plants are 15 to 20 cm tall some are removed to give chance others grow properly. Fertilizer also be used in jute growing land, it increases 4 to 10 tones of producing jute fiber in each acre.  Urea, TSP and MP fertilizer you can use respectively 22.5kgs, 11kgs and 20 kgs for  each acre.

Insects and pesticides attack jute fibers and Defects of Jute Fiber

During growing period jute may attack by two dozens of different insects and pests which affect jute production and cause of jute fiber defects. Jute hairy caterpilla, Jute hairy caterpillar, Jute semilooper, Jute stem weevil, Field cricket, Yellow mite and Indigo caterpillar are the most common insects of jute plant, most of them attack on leaves and stem of jute plant.

Due to many reason jute fiber fall under defects finally when it would be processed. The common jute fiber defects are Rooty fibers, Speeky fibers, Croppy fibers, Sticky fibers, knotty fibers, Dead fibers, Hunka, Weak fibers, Mossy fibers, Heart damage and Exterior damage.

Products of Jute
Jute is an affordable fiber from which most attractive a great variety of products being produced. It puts of major use of household, domestic and decorative purposes like ropes, bags, blanket, towine yarn, wall mats etc. Now it is used to produce CBC yarn and Jutex yarn by blending with cotton fiber. Now a days green jute is used to produce paper in paper industry.
